We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"Paolo was wonderful and kind host. The village of Vernazza was very charming and picturesque! The property was a little beat up- one of the windows wouldn’t shut and there was a storm that night the window was banging and it scared my youngest son. Although, you had to climb a significant amount of stairs to get to the property, it felt like it was straight out of a movie. "

"While the property and host were lovely, there were some inaccuracies that hindered our experience. Our main reason for selecting this property was because it listed a hot tub as one of the amenities but it failed to have one. The walking distances listed are also misleading. The walk to the beach is 20 minutes (listing says 4 minutes) and very steep. Doable for us, but always drenched in sweat and out of breath when we returned.
