"We had stayed at this location last September and enjoyed it so much that we returned this year for a longer stay of 16 days. Communication with the owner and her agent was easy and fast. We love the privacy and great views of the vineyards from the elevated location of the house. We watched the "vendage" (picking of the grapes), from the porch while enjoying an outdoor lunch. The house is well equipped with all the appliances and basic supplies provided. While it is a bit of a walk to the small town of Vacqueyras, it is an easy drive to supermarkets, restaurants, and neighbouring towns. There are great walks through the vineyards in the area."

"We had a fabulous holiday at La Bergerie it was everything we hoped for. Peaceful, set amongst vineyards above the small village of Suzette away from the hustle of everyday life. The views from every window at the property captured a different view of the landscape, we felt like we were in a painting or on a film set, words cannot adequately describe! We enjoyed walking, touring the region and sampling the wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables from the markets and of course the wines of the region. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"Our stay in Gigondas was just what we had hoped - a traditional French villa, with a pool, surrounded by vineyards. The weather was glorious, so the pool was well used, but we did get plenty of sightseeing in as well. There are countless beautiful villages and towns nearly. The village of Gigondas itself is very pretty but doesn’t have a boulangerie. The next village over (Sablet, 2kms away) does though - highly recommend a visit (or several!) We really loved our time at the villa. Merci bien! "

"We had a lovely week in this house. Communications before our stay were clear & self check in easy. The house is very clean & comfortable with everything you could need. The pool & outside area are beautiful & much needed as we were lucky & had some hot sunny weather. You can walk into the village which has a bakery, shop, pizza takeaway/restaurant etc. Lots of places to visit around the area. I would definitely recommend a stay here."

"If you read the reviews, everything positive that was said is true. Literally set in the middle of a vineyard, this is the most quaint, rustic, and accommodating setting a group could hope for. The pool (which is shared with anyone who might be staying at the adjoining house) was a relief, as it was hot when we were there (June 15-28). Third floor bedroom was quite warm so make sure that you get the owners to look at it if it is not working when you get there. We enjoyed the terraced front patio for breakfasts and dinners/aperitifs. The grape vines gave cover from the sun, and the beautiful plants around it were in full bloom and lent amazing aromas. We enjoyed several dinners at the Café in Vacqueyras, and the boulangerie provided baguettes, croissants and espresso to keep us sustained in the mornings. There are more vineyards than you could ever visit in Vacqueyras and the surrounding towns, but you cannot miss a tasting at Clos de Caveau, which gets its grapes from, among other places, the plots surrounding the pool. Biking was essential to us and the surrounding roads, narrow as they are, offered incredible views of the Dentelles and surrounding vineyards. We did venture to Mont Ventoux, Sault, Châteauneuf de Pape and Marseille to explore, and emphasize the need to rent a car. Perrine and Julien were quickly responsive to every little issue we had pop up. Sunsets by the pool were breathtaking and not to be missed. Incroyable!! Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"What a wonderful stay we had in our Château Jonquier stone cottage gîte! It is ideally located as a base for exploring Provence on day trips — choose any direction! It is a tranquil spot in the countryside yet very close to the magical villages of Séguret and Sablet, while being only 10 minutes from Vaison La Romaine with it’s incredible Roman ruins and myriad restaurants and shops. Frédéric was a warm and welcoming host, and responded quickly to any of our requests. We enjoyed every minute of our peaceful month-long interlude here! Merci, Frédéric!"

"Lovely location. Good views and so close to so many great vineyards and villages. The pool was excellent and set below the house with trees for privacy from the road. Hosts Monique and her son Thierry were very friendly and hospitable. Thank you for a wonderful holiday."
