"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"Très jolie villa à côté de Souliac. Pas très loin de beaucoup de centre touristique du Périgord, une maison très propre et très agréable avec un barbecue et une piscine très calme. Les gens qu’ils ont accueilli ainsi que les propriétaires sont très sympa. Seul petit bémol si vous êtes en fauteuil roulant, prévoyez une petite rampe pour aller à l’extérieur."

The bill had not been paid . It was not fixed by the time of our departure . Poor service . Two cupboards in the kitchen at head level are an HS&E hazard . Sharp corners . "This property was amazing for our children, offering plenty of entertainment, including pétanque, pinball machine, trampoline, swings, playhouse, basketball, swimming pool and table tennis. The children were in their element. The view was incredible and the location perfect for days out and popping to the boulangerie in Meyssac, which was lovely. Collonges la Rouge was such a gorgeous village and only 10minutes away. The only reason we have marked this down is due to the black mould encountered...

"The young lady on reception went out of her way to help me get a meal as the nearby restaurant was closed and there was nowhere nearby that I could reach on foot. We conquered the language barrier and I was able to have a meal delivered. Excellent service."
