"The hotel was really nice and the outdoor heated pool was a real treat even in March. We didnt have any treatments as we were only there to enjoy 1 evening child free but what we did see of the spa treatments and the facilities were very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and next to lots of good restaurants that were within 1 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Buxton in general. We will be back"

"Nice hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The building has character. Room is clean. Walls are thin and I’ve been able to hear the man next door snoring, and now their dogs barking and whining. Apart from that all has been okay. Parking was easy to find using the postcode provided for it by the hotel. "

"Service at the hotel was great, particularly Vanessa who checked us in and stored our bags for us. Breakfast was lovely too. There was a reasonable amount of road noise but I travel with earplugs so that didn’t disturb my sleep. "
