We drove across to Saint Emilion for the day which was great. Le Pessaquai Restaurant is a great local option for dinner. Chateau Tour la Cadie just up the road does incredible and really well priced wine! Le Pessàquai Pessac sur Dordogne"

It's exactly how it looks and described on the website - clean, comfortable, well furnished with great facilities - swimming pool and area around it, gardens, table tennis, pertanque, badminton, table football and bikes to hire. Great wifi reception as well Situated in a lovely and quiet spot, surrounded by Vineyards but not too far from shops in the local village or Bergerac itself - about 10 minutes drive away"

"From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board. We nicknamed the pool hoover Janice, she was a bit annoying in the pool all the time but the pool was clean so worth it I suppose. The local town is very quiet, Boulangerie is permanently closed and the bar was seemingly hardly open. Luckily, within 10 minutes drive either way there are some great Boulangeries, one in Ruazan was amazing (doesn’t show up on maps though!) There is a good SuperU in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne and also everything else you need which is less than ten minutes drive away. The vineyards are stunning and made the perfect backdrop to a wonderful stay. Thank you ☺️ "

"Helpful host who adjoins the property so any issues easily resolved as they are on hand. Was very hot when we stayed and although fans provided it made sleeping in the mezzanine very warm. The pool was a welcome relief and kept spotlessly clean by the host who shut it down each evening and cleaned each day. Lovely welcome ‘basket!’ of wine, bread, pizza etc. great location to visit Saint Emilion, Bergerac etc and lots of fabulous markers. Would stay again"

"We loved staying on the farm. The house was large and spotless, hosts incredibly helpful. Our 3 and 5 year olds boys loved it too! The only thing to note for other guests (that is very usual in France) is that you need to bring your own bedding, this isn’t explicitly called out on the listing. Would definitely stay again! "

"Our family had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is wonderful as surrounded by vineyards and nature in a lovely quiet setting. The house is perfect for families, spotlessly clean, spacious and plenty of facilities for young children. There was a collection of toys, paddling pool, sun loungers, bbq, table tennis to name just a few. The rooms are so comfortable and had a great sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Location wise, we are very close to Soussac for local shops and a wonderful restaurant and Bergerac only being a 30-40 min drive. The hosts are a delight and was amazing at helping us check in as we arrived late at night due to delays. We could not have had a more enjoyable holiday at the gîte and will return for sure."
