Fabulous peaceful domaine located among vineyards. Isabelle is a very welcoming and gracious host. Room was large and comfortable with a private patio. Breakfast was bountiful with various fresh fruit, cheese, meats, homemade jams and freshly made cake. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

Just incredible. Such a quaint, quiet, and beautiful property. Really felt like the southern countryside while also being accessible to tons of great wineries and things to do. We took two kids and travelled as a family and it was perfect. The food and service is also amazing. Tip: almost everything in the area is closed on Sunday and many are closed on Mondays too. Built that into your travel plans

We had a wonderful few days at Domaine de Grande Font, relaxing in the gardens, on the riverbank and by the pool. Everything was excellent, but especially breakfast, which tended to last for two hours each morning - but that's what holidays are all about.

We had a fantastic stay here! The house and rooms are beautiful and the river view is lovely, it was so peaceful. Breakfast was incredible every day and Isabelle and her husband were the perfect hosts, so accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic characterful stay.
Wonderful one night stay, the grounds and view are beautiful and the family room was spacious and full of character. The hospitality of Isabelle and Stephane was second to none. We couldn’t fault the place and hope to come back for longer soon.

An amazing place to stay with delicious food!
A beautiful 16th Century rennovated farm retaining classic features and immaculately kept from buildings to grounds alongside the river and nestled in vineyards and fruit trees. Isabelle and Stefan are delightful hosts who know how to look after their guests. Breakfast on the terrace is plentiful with lots of choice. We ate there both evenings too and the food was all local and delicious. Very reasonable - aperitifs followed by a 3 course meal with local wine, costing Euro 45 per head. The rooms are large and ensuite, each having a separate private terrace with loungers as well as table and chairs. The pool is immaculate and you can also swim in the river. A fabulous 2 nights and we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Lovely hosts, wonderful setting and great wine! Quite, away from built up areas gardens are very well kept. As the property only has a few rooms it will never be crowded so you can enjoy the architecture, peace, food and wine uninterrupted - Nothing for children here so don't bring them!

Very beautiful tranquil property. Great location to drive to various villages and explore. Food was very delicious, really enjoyed the fresh strawberries. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like, the internet was slow. However since we were trying to get away that was a plus for us.

Excellent stay at Domaine de Grande Font
Isabelle and her husband were gracious hosts, they served a wonderful breakfast and you will be in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Our room was spacious and the bathroom clean . Great shower ! Isabelle speaks English and there were international guests also staying there that spoke English. You are well situated for day trips in the area . Can’t say enough good things about this property.

Wow wow wow - this place is too good!!
We don’t leave many reviews - only the really really good places and this is most definitely worthy of that title. The place is absolutely stunning on the banks of the Dordogne with amazing views, I don’t think I could ever tire of them. Stephane & Isabelle are insanely good hosts - they treated us so well, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts here are divine, didn’t want to get full for them to end. We also had dinner which was superbly cooked - delicious! Honestly if you’re in the area stay here. Best chambres d’hotes we’ve ever been to.
