"Needed a hotel where I could leave a trailer. Extremely helpful when I phoned and equally helpful in sorting out afternoon tea even though their kitchen was shut. One of the best meals I have had at the restaurant especially when considering the price. Good breakfast choice. Grounds beautiful and resident peacock and peahen. Tranquil. Bed comfortable just needed to be a little careful of low ish beam in room."

"The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best part of the room. The amenities were nice and the room was as depicted in the photos. The welcome was pleasant but cooled somewhat once they realised we’d booked through Hotels.com. We were told we wouldn’t get breakfast because of it. That’s fine but perhaps phrase it as “so that’s room only tonight” instead. Noise carries throughout. "Had a fantastic night. Lovely little place. Beautiful room. Really nicely decorated, you can tell a lot of effort has gone in to the room and communal areas. Amazing sea view to wake up to. Everything you could need, hairdryer, mini fridge etc. Lots of options to control overnight temperature to our liking. Very very clean. Hosts were friendly and able to advise of good parking nearby. Wasn't noisy, from inside or out. Would definitely recommend. Incredible quality for the price."

"Lovely place for our wedding anniversary celebrations. The most welcomed gift of bottle of prosecco and anniversary card from our host's was a very thoughtful touch. Decor throughout was fabulous. Breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful. Comfy bed and wonderful views. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again."

"The room was slightly dated, but very clean. On arrival the room was cold, but there was an option to contact the owners to have the heating boosted if required. We were visiting friends nearby so didn't need to do so, and the room was lovely and warm on our return once the scheduled heating had started. "We loved everything about our stay here. It was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views. The room itself was very cosy with everything we needed and some extra little treats. We didn’t have to think about anything. It was very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was huge. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the near future. "

Perfect for our stay

"Room was perfect for what we wanted. Close to the beach and local shops. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Plenty of choice for breakfast, fruit, yogurts cereals toast & crumpets with preserves and juice. Lovely friendly staff. Only one negative point is lack of parking on the premises "

"We had a lovely stay here and would return again. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. There was a good selection for breakfast and all the meals we had during our stay was excellent. Our room was great, with a nice cosy theme. The bed was too firm for me and my partner, though that is down to personal preference and no fault of the hotel. The hotel is in a quiet location in lovely surroundings with plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore Dorset."
