"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"The road the cottage is on is extremely quiet and is just a short walk into Grasmere, there is a lot of space and the hot tub is great after a days walking! There is plenty within walking distance so you can leave the car for the weekend! "

"Extremely handy base for walking in this area and easy access to all the village facilities. One thing I hadn’t thought of was the challenge of a dirty dog and only having a small shower cubicle so one to consider if booking! (We made it work somehow). Only slight down side to the property was the sofa isn’t the comfiest place to sit of an evening, but we fixed that by visiting the pub instead. Overall very good for our needs and an easy experience."
