"The apartment was spacious. 1 bedroom, and sofa bed in living/kitchen area. Very clean and great air-conditioning. Kitchen/cooking area was basic but adequate for a short stay. Reception was welcoming and spacious. Staff were very pleasant and nothing was any bother. Breakfast was self service with good choices of cheese, bread and pastries. "Chosen for location flew to Carcassonne flight arrives 5pm and were travelling south west. Note hotel doesn't have a restaurant, (unsure if this was due to season) need to drive 5km to a an excellent restaurant at a wine producer , prices quite high. Difficult to find entrance only visible from one direction, no signs from other direction."

"The hotel is inside the walled city, right next to the basilica. As no car is allowed to drive to the castle, the hotel offers a free shuttle to pick/drop you to the parking lot where you get in/off the taxi. The hotel has a lot of history but the condition itself needs some maintenance. The view from the hotel is unbeatable and the staff are super friendly. Overall is a very nice stay.
