"Run down hotel double charged me at check out and did not respond to my emails asking for a refund. At check out the elderly receptionist was confused and could not see that I already pre-paid via hotels.com. So I was forced to pay 680 euro again. The lady promised to check with hotels.com the same day and email me. Now 3 weeks later, I still got no refund. Or any responds. "Authentically shabby chic chateau, an experience you will never forget. Excellent place for a large group (we were 12 most of the fortnight) and perfect for eating drinking and talking late into the night. The pool is good and needed in the summer (38 degrees while we were there). Despite the large indoor space it was the outdoor living that we particularly enjoyed. Not a place for people who want modern conveniences, but if you want authentic old french this is perfect."

"La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...
