"Cadaqués is beautiful, not easy to get to without a car, and has limited hotel options. The Octavia is perfectly located, clean, simple, nice rooms, and a good value (keeping in mind that high season for tourism inflates everything in Spain). Access to a parking lot shared by two hotels is a plus, but the policy of no reservations for parking makes that a gamble. "

"Hotel is in excellent condition and have great rooms. However, we were not satisfied with the overall service level at the Hotel. First we were not able to get a table in the main restaurant for dinner despite attempting to book several days in advance, this meant we were stuck with the buffet/ala carte option in the other restaurant. From the looks of it, it seems fine, however the taste was just not there at all in any of the dishes. The fish for main courses was way undercooked, and the meats were very cheap cuts and far from tender. In addition the level of service in regards to the ski lockers was undesirable and cost us a lot of time."
