"Our stay at Toes In The Water was great. I love visiting the beach in the off season and this was a perfect find. The property was a nice complex, and although the weather was not sunny, it provided us a great place to see the ocean and was far enough away to not have bustling traffic but close enough to get to Oak Island or Southport. Would come back when we are back in the area again! The condo was updated and beds were comfy. We loved the view!"

"Enjoyed my stay---just wanted to get away for a few days. Condo is on the second floor with a magnificent view of the ocean just off the private porch. It's at the north end of the island, so very peaceful although there is the north pier about 2 blocks away with a tiki bar, restaurant and ice cream shop. Everything else needs a car or at least a bike---more than a mile to the central pier. Twenty minutes to Wilmington and to Fort Fisher.Host was immediately responsive to parking pass issue...

It did take a call and text to get a response from the owner. To be fully transparent, it was over Christmas once I spoke with the owner, I had no issues whatsoever. The beach during December is perfect. I would definitely choose this location again."
