"Amazing views from this home! Very nice kitchen that we used to cook a few meals over the Christmas holiday. Beautiful sunny weather in Taormina in December and spent time out on the South patio in the sun. Town of Taormina was very nice and could either drive down to parking garage just outside of town or could walk to town in 12 min. Good food in Taormina and many restaurants were open over the holidays. Very pleased with our stay at Villa La Gorgone!"

"We have just spent the most wonderful holiday in this villa. The owners certainly understand what it means to be a host. Communication before, during and after our stay was perfect: complete but not overly intrusive. The home was clean and elegant. The layout of 4 separate bedrooms and bathrooms gives each room privacy, while the common living areas are conducive to socialising with friends or family. This will forever be remembered by us as a place of joy, beauty and comfort."

"The views from this property were lovely. The pool and outdoor kitchen were great fun. Lovely garden also. This was a great location with easy travel time from the airport and a good base to explore the area. Fiumefreddo itself was not much to speak of. I would recommend this villa for a family holiday but a car is essential."

"Absolute perfection. Beautiful villa overlooking the sea, easy walk to the shops and restaurants, with a wonderful host. Can’t imagine a better place for a family or several couples. The villa is huge - two separate apartments, two kitchens, two washers. Each bedroom has a large queen/matrimonial bed. We were able to park safely on the ground level. "We loved our stay at Villa Etna Mare. The setting is amazing with the most wonderful views of Mount Etna and the coast. The villa is very well equipped with a great outdoor cooking area. The drive up to the villa is quite a drive! but the instructions from Michael meant that you knew exactly where you were and therefore didn't miss any turnings! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Michael, the host,was very helpful with any questions we had too about the local area."

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"
