"What a wonderful gem of a small hotel! From the moment we arrived the warmth of the staff was apparent. Beginning with our greeting upon arrival to being walked to the door upon leaving the hotel, we were assured we were well taken care of. That’s not even the best part: the location. "The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."
