"The region between Milazzo and Messina is not really nice. But Cala Marina is an oasis in there. Great garden (with Yakuzzi!), only a few footsteps to the sea. We spend days and evenings on the terraces (independ of the weather). House is well equipped. Really friendly owners."

"The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The villa does need some attention, particularly the bathrooms. But overall, the decor and feel to the villa is very well suited and our family loved the stay. The pool area was huge and clean and the kids loved it. Thank you to the hosts for having us!"

Wir hatten bei der Ankunft eine große Schale mit frischen Orangen und Zitronen auf dem Tisch stehen, im Kühlschrank war eine Flasche Wasser. Auch bei sonstigen Problemen half uns die Vermieterin promt und unkompliziert weiter. Das Haus ist schön am Rande von Letojanni gelegen, alles ist fußläufig gut erreichbar. "Wer es ruhig und entspannt möchte ist hier genau richtig. Tolle Terrasse auf der man im November noch Frühstücken konnte. Der Blick ist wunderschön. Der Vermieter hat uns viele Tipps zur Umgebung, guten Restaurants und der einheimischen Küche gegeben. Vielen Dank dafür noch mal an Gianfranco!"

"We were very impressed with Villa Fontanelle - a true "villa" level experience! Facilities were even better than advertised, with air conditioning now available on both floors. Martina welcomed us and took care of our wishes in a quick and exemplary manner, fully utilizing WhatsApp for easy-to-use guidance and links. The pool was great and we had it 100% for ourselves. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money!"

"Motta Camastra is a family treasure that has been painstakingly and beautifully restored. The town is very old, population about 800. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The town sits on a mountain top with beautiful vistas and fabulous sunsets. Fabulous views of Mt Etna. Not the easiest to druve to sitting on a mountain top. VERY winding road up to the town with many SHARP hairpin turns--not for the faint of heart! Host and hostess were extremely nice."

"We had a wonderful & relaxing stay despite the disruptions to our flights to & from Catania (airport fire). The villa was clean and tidy but 3rd bedroom did not have air-conditioning. The owners were very helpful, recommending & booking restaurants, all the way to providing home grown vegetables & fresh eggs."

"Loved the views, authentic and comfortable cottage, lovely experience of Sicilian village life. May be difficult to access for those with mobility issues. Wifi would not connect. Single lane access and street parking not suitable for a large vehicle. Also make sure to access groceries before arrival as there was no grocery store in Savoca and breakfast was not supplied as stated."
