" I arrived by car in the evening. The hotel is poorly signed and I had problems locating it. Otherwise nice location with pleasant staff and great rooms. For the number of rooms I find 2 elevators too little - too much waiting time. "

"We walked to the hotel from the train station. We went out the main doors of the train station. We could have made it much easier on ourselves if we went to the lower level and crossed under the tracks. Otherwise, the hotel was great. Not too expensive, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed."

"Charles recognized us from the moment we arrived. He help with our luggage to our room, and was very courteous, as on our previous stay last summer. We will be back soon. We just love Intercontinental in Bordeaux. Remus USA"

"Nice location in heart of the city. Very walkable, easy to get to restaurants, bars, shops. Hotel staff are friendly. Room was comfortable, but a bit small. I upgraded to a double, and a bit difficult to move around. Clean and updated though."

"The Normandie hits all the right notes. It overlooks Bordeaux's streetcar hub and the Girond Estuary, is adjacent to the jardin public and the head of Rue Sainte Catherine, and is equidistant to the funky dining neighborhoods of The Chartrons and Saint-Pierre. The Bar a Vins, sponsored by the Bordeaux wind industry, is next door. Can't be beat."

"Ideal location if arriving from the airport. Under 100m to walk from the tram stop which costs under €2. Easy walking distance from the centre. Plenty of grocery stores nearby too. The staff are very friendly."

" Quirky decoration throughout, confortable and clean. Staff were welcoming. Located in the city centre, so easy access by foot. There's no access by car due to barriers on the streets, so we had to use a local car park. At night, the area around the hotel didn't feel particularly welcoming due to homelessness, but this was a problem all around the city."

"We spent the month of June at the gite, and we really loved it. It was clean, comfortable, well kept and had everything we needed to live as if at home for a month. We particularly enjoyed the pool! Any questions or problems we had, Christophe was helpful, responsive and friendly. The location is perfect for an easy drive to great restaurants, chateaus, grocery stores, etc. We had our 2 dogs with us, and there is loads of space for them to wander although it isn’t enclosed. You’ll need to...

"Nous avons passé un agréable week-end dans cette jolie propriété. La communication avec Aude et Stéphanie s'est très bien passé. Elles se sont rendu disponible pour nous et c'est appréciable. Le cadre (jardin + piscine + calme) a rendu ce séjour magnifique. A refaire sans hésiter !"

Perfect stay in wonderful surroundings

"Our family had such an amazing stay at this property. The location is wonderful as surrounded by vineyards and nature in a lovely quiet setting. The house is perfect for families, spotlessly clean, spacious and plenty of facilities for young children. There was a collection of toys, paddling pool, sun loungers, bbq, table tennis to name just a few. The rooms are so comfortable and had a great sleep. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. Location wise, we are very close to Soussac for local shops and a wonderful restaurant and Bergerac only being a 30-40 min drive. The hosts are a delight and was amazing at helping us check in as we arrived late at night due to delays. We could not have had a more enjoyable holiday at the gîte and will return for sure."
