The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of fridge space which was certainly needed for a family of our size. "This property has lots of character. The views are glorious especially the afternoon sunsets. The property was well catered for. We prefered this proximaty to St Emillion, in a quiter rural village. However it is just a quick drive and you are able to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and wine estate for which St Emillion is famous for. "Large house very well set up for comfortable enjoyment, especially the kitchen was well suited for people who like to cook. It was exciting to be surrounded by vineyards while harvest was in process. Imagine sitting by your pool while a grape picking truck up the hill moves about the vineyard picking the grapes - fabulous! Maureen was very helpful with any questions. Loved being out in the countryside rather than in a city. Close to markets each day & an hour+ from Bordeaux & St Emilion....

"We received a fabulous welcome from Philippe who was very helpful and always available on the phone if we had any questions or problems.
