"If you want peace and tranquillity this is for you! The wildlife was just fantastic, watching the swifts give such a display by the pool, and a very close display of kites and buzzards as the farmer was cutting the grass - just incredible. Most mornings we saw the dear/s in the lower fields. And of course the little bat that decided he would sleep under the wooden terrace during the day. "A very pleasant one week stay in August. Very calm and peaceful (which was what we wanted), lots of space to walk around the grounds with fruit trees, vines, and the occasional deer. The house is very luminous, spacious and comfortable, and Jill and Craig offer a warm welcome, and are helpful and attentive. Plenty to see in the surrounding area (Pays Basque, Béarn, Landes)."

"The hotel rooms need updating. We book an hour before arriving but Hotel.com had not sent it through to the hotel. The receptionist gave us the room and said she would sort it out. Which she did telling us it came through 2 hours after we arrived "
