"I came in December, which is their low season, so I was basically one of the very few people staying at the hotel. The receptionist was only around for the check-in. The cleaning staff only showed up once. The rest of the time, they expect you to call if you need help, which is not realistic for foreign travellers, especially if you are not fluent in French or Italian. The building is locked, so basic safety is not an issue. However, when the internet went out, I had no way to contact anyone...

"The desk clerks at the hotel were excellent particularly Alex who did whatever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed the food and the service in the dining room. We were very disappointed to find that there was no fridge in the room--the only hotel of the 11 on our trip. We could store things in their fridge but that is not the same. "Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon. "Hotel is pretty and conveniently located. Rooms were a tad small, almost Paris-sized, but comfortable nevertheless. There was no in-room coffee/tea options which I could odd since I’ve always had this available in any hotel I’ved stayed in France (and I’ve traveled extensively). "

"Regrettably I am unable to leave a 5 star review for this property. Firstly, the property is within a working yard shared with the owners and other nearby neighbours. The photos are slightly miss-leading in this regard. Secondly, the property cleanliness wasn't up to standard. The shower had quite a bit of mould and lots of established spider webs all across the kitchen, living room and bedroom. I know it is located within nature but do not expect to see old spider webs and mould. Also hardly...

"The property is tiny, but enjoys a central location in the village. You have to accept the building is next to a very loud church bell, 8am to 8pm. It would benefit from having WiFi. Nice outside sittong area. "

Secluded and peaceful mountain retreat

"A lovely hillside development of purpose built rooms in the mountains. We received a warm reception. The room lovely and inventive in its design. We really loved it. A small terrace outside was where our breakfast was served, and this was superb. The secluded location served to teem with songbirds, I've rarely heard so many welcome the start of the day. A perfect location, a short drive from Corte where we had dinner in the evening. "
