"It started when we passed the gates of the property. With its olive trees colored by some cypresses, the colors of the stones and this special colors ofbthe Toscan earth greeted us. Then we received by very friendly and smiling people who showed us around the property, the Orangerie for breakfast, the 12 century room for dinner, the pool ,the fitness, the pond with ducks, gooses and many different birds, the muttons, the alpacas..you do feel close to the nature. "The hotel is in a great location easily walkable to the Duomo and museums as well as a bus stop (Stuffa Secca) that takes you to / from the Siena train station (although be warned, it's a short but steep climb up the hill from the stop to the hotel). The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is generous and varied. The lobby is beautifully decorated. My room was spacious. When I come back to Siena, I'll try to stay here,"

"This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful views and a great location. The owner and staff are wonderful and accommodating. We arrived in the heat of August and our first room would not cool down. The owner moved us to another room with a better air conditioner fairly quickly and was so kind. Breakfast was wonderful - one of the best we had in Italy! This hotel is close to some of the best restaurants as well."
