"Cleanliness was the only issue. Bed sheets were dirty, no toilet paper in the bathroom, no water pressure in bathroom, bathroom sink didn’t drain, and the place needs a dehumidifier in a bad way. Good location and could have been a really nice place if it was cleaner. "

"We loved staying at the Sportsmans Lodge. It's hidden and peaceful and we got to have both our dogs with no pet fees. We only stayed for one night and had a reservation at another lodge but check-in wasn't until 4. I just texted the manager asking for a later checkout and they had no issues. We’ll definitely stay here again."

"This is a nice residential RV park. This particular RV seems like it’s an older model but is very clean and well kept. We never figured out how to get the hot water to work but this wasn’t a bother because the bath house in the park was first rate. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze. Deer passed by between the camper and the lake in the morning while we were having coffee. I’d definitely (and likely will) stay here again."

It was perfectly located where we could eat/shop local in Rocky Mount or take a short drive to the business district. The host was responsive and extremely helpful. "This place was absolutely what we needed for our anniversary getaway. Beautiful view of the lake right out the back door or from the deck. The dock was awesome to enjoy sitting by the water and the fire pit was cool and well built. Communication with the hosts was very easy! We will be back!"

"This hotel is what I call a working mans hotel. Its clean-ish. They have updated the rooms and they are cleaner looking. Its a place with a table and chairs and basic kitchen. No frills. I wouldve appreciated no glitter left on the floor but im sure that stuff was hard to get out in the first place.
