"Clean hotel, friendly staff. The night we stayed they had a water main break but they kept us updated throughout the process. They had to close their restaurants so that was disappointing because The Trophy Room was why we stayed there. Appreciated the 11amxheckput!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdshack. There was plenty of room for our group of 20, lots of comfortable seating in 3 different living spaces.There was plenty of room for dining, too. Most bedrooms were good size with comfortable beds. The big pantry closet in the kitchen was great for all are food. The grandkids enjoyed all the games, including the pool table .The walk to the water on the sidewalk is a bit steep but doable if you take it slow. The porches on the back were nice, including the screened in area. A great place for a family vacation."

"The house was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were a perfect fit, the location unbeatable, and the space big enough for all activities and making great memories. The Host was very helpful and available. Many of our family members mentioned coming back in the summer."

"Our stay at the castle was truly amazing. There was so much to do in the home. Our goal was to spend as much time with family without also going crazy, and the amount of space and things to do allowed that to happen. Maureen was very quick to respond when we had questions about anything. The kitchen upstairs and downstairs was nice because it was enough space and ovens to cook food. There were 3 garbage cans in the garage which was needed after our event so that was helpful. The kids got to experience the Christmas Village hay ride and elf reading, and they also went fishing. The only very minor complaints was that the floors in the living room and upstairs bedroom (where the tile was) were cold this time of year, so bring your slippers. There were space heaters provided though. If you are staying more than a couple nights, bring your own shampoo/body wash. There is some provided, it was just small bottles. Overall we are very happy with our stay; and the fact that we could use it as our wedding venue for an additional $1000 fee was so helpful and made our day special. "
