William Savery created the first divided highway in the US. It was opened to the public in 1860 and can still be driven on in Carver, MA. Savery is the name of the historic district here as well. His grave is located in the 1865 Historic Union Cemetery.

"The parent in me would say... The pool was a bit cloudy, and the decor in the pool area could use a good cleaning. The pre-teen kids loved it, as well as the arcade! The room was clean—excellent location to Plymouth shops and restaurants. "

"Great location with a budget-friendly price. Also had one of the largest indoor pools we have seen at this price point. Staff were incredibly friendly at check in and were quick to help with the one small issue we had when our key card stopped working. The continental breakfast was a little sparse, but the property emailed us immediately after booking to tell us that it would be. We would stay here again for sure!"
