"Just wonderful. Elegant but not luxurious. Elegant in that the Baywatch Cottage is perfectly matched to its location. Simple but tasteful. A classic sea-side cottage. Secluded yet perfectly situated to explore the many hidden, empty beaches sprinkled around the island like a coral necklace. Our own private cove to access the sparkling azure waters to swim and snorkle. All that we needed was there - within and without. Every sunset was an anticipation of a unique display of nature's fireworks - and then we sat thru the afterglow until the galaxy sowed its own fireworks on the night sky. Soft, warm breezes filled the cottage at night. We connected with the place and with ourselves.Simply elegant and elegantly simple."

"Harbor Breeze Resort is an absolutely beautiful place. It’s the perfect place for a getaway. I loved everything about this resort. I especially like that every balcony had an unobstructed view of the sea. The Staff were friendly and helpful the food was delicious. The garden was well maintained. Looking forward to visiting again soon. "

"Our stay at this villa on Long Island was absolutely extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Phil and Debbie, who greeted us at the airport. Their hospitality set the tone for an amazing trip.The villa itself was beyond stunning. With a group of seven, we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The swimming pool was breathtaking, and the views were simply spectacular. Having a boat right at the dock added a sense of adventure to our stay.The location of the villa is perfect, right in the center of the island, giving us easy access to both the north and south. Additionally, having a grocery store and liquor store just across the street made everything so convenient.A huge thank you to Phil, Debbie, and their sweet dog Cheerio for making our stay so memorable. This villa is a true slice of paradise, and we’re already planning to return. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a magical getaway on Long Island!"

"Cottage was exactly as we'd hoped - secluded (careful on the dirt road in; potholes abound), quiet, and just steps from the beach. House had all the amenities we could possibly have asked for, and the property manager proved professional and helpful. Beach is gorgeous, with clear shallow water and craggy coves for exploring with kids. Location is perfect; central to (20 min. drive) plenty of restaurants, a well-stocked market, and lots of stuff to do. Communication with owners was fast and easy.Everyone we met was friendly and delightful, safety never felt like an issue at all. Only deducted a star from "location and neighborhood" because on windy days the beach seems to accumulate a lot of trash brought in by the trade winds. Unfortunate and somewhat of a downer, but certainly no fault of the owners, or the Bahamas for that matter. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. "
