"Our stay was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated, and the fireplace makes it very cozy. Despite the house being historic, it was easy to get temperature of the different spaces comfortable. We visited in February, so it was a little cold to spend time outside, but the garden was beautiful. Our host was very attentive and helped with anything we asked for. "

"This location was perfect for us. We wanted to see Sintra and Nazare and stay in a little less touristy place. We went to dinner in the town and it was fantastic. Quiet but friendly town.We really enjoyed our stay."

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

"The villa was perfect for what we needed. There was a few things that let the villa down. 1. Oven doesn't work as it trips the power. 2. Toaster also broken and could only toast two slices at a time. 3. Ensuite shower kept flooding floor. 4. Ensuite 2 shower had no way to be kept on wall, had to hold shower head. 5.
