"I chose here due to it being the perfect location and being the right price. I’m so pleased I did because the place and the team exceeded my expectations by a long way. Service, food, drinks all of the highest quality. Evening meal served in a really nice room, same as breakfast. The room I had was 205 and it was clean, comfy, spacious. "The accommodation was fabulous value for money. Very comfortable beds, warm rooms that can easily be aired by turning off the heaters and opening the balcony doors. Some people's comments about decor and the rooms needing upgrading isn't totally fair in our opinion. Some fittings are slightly aged but everything was safe and clean. "Hotel is in a beautiful area and location. It has a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use as we were spending time with family living locally. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious and really nice but needs a little TLC in the bathroom with a jacuzzi and the curtain hooks need attention. "This is a lovely hotel, with charm and character. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cozy, clean and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside! The bathroom also clean and in good condition - the shower was great! The location was also better than we thought - we were able to get to other lakes and towns, a shopping outlet and even the coast within 30-60min drive. The only 'quirk' with this hotel was that at each breakfast, we got a different portion size, despite ordering...
