"Our stay with Gregor in Inverness was fabulous! The Cottage was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean and comfortable while also being walking distance to many Inverness restaurants and shops. Having a working fireplace made ready for use was lovely. While the kitchen and bathroom were small, they met all our needs. Gregor was nice enough to have a few things for us in the kitchen for breakfast! Gregor is a fount of wonderful information and history which made out stay even better! ...

There are a couple of ‘tired bits’ of soft furnishings that could benefit from updating… bedding and duvets as these have been the same for the 2 years, and the majority of the blind cords are knotted and don t work. "The accommodation was comfortable and communicating with the property was easy and quick. For the most part, it was as stated in the listing. It's a bit old and worn in places, but is certainly liveable. The location is really great! Close to the wobbly bridge for walks into "downtown" and very handy to the Aldi -- literally up the street! "We all really enjoyed our stay. Up early each morning to see the garden wildlife, fox, hares, squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker and lots of finches.Great cottage with all that you need, only downside was the third bedroom which is better suited for children than adults, mezzanine area.Fraser and Bridget lovely and very welcoming.We certainly will visit again to explore this beautiful area."

"The peace & quiet here was amazing! Other guests were respectful & the only noise in the morning was the ducks looking for food. Our lodge was dated but comfortable. There were a few minor issues but nothing that affected our stay. So in summary the accommodation is not luxurious but the location & setting are wonderful if it’s a quiet break you are looking for.
