"This is a beautiful log cabin set back on a quiet peaceful road. We loved the large front porch, picnic table and huge kitchen table. All were perfect for our group of 10. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels and toilet paper in the bathrooms. We arrived late on the first evening, were gone the next entire day and evening on Mackinac Island and got up the next morning to check out. So we spent very little time in the cabin and on the grounds. It was very convenient to Mackinac Island. "We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater.
