"Really good family run campsite with some small cottages and covered accommodation. The owners are very cheerful and welcoming with plenty of advice regarding the local area. The space is quite basic but was a perfect location to explore the lizard by foot or car. "

"Lovely position overlooking Porthtowan and south west along the coast to Carbis Bay and St Ives. Close to the coastal path providing beautiful walks to many tin mines along the heritage coast trails. Perfect getaway whatever the weather. Very comfortable and showers were excellent "

"Comfortable, well equipped and in a great location for visiting busy Falmouth and beyond, while still enjoying some quiet winter calm and beautiful Cornish walks and scenery. We had breakfast on the deck one morning; a real treat in November! Great communication before during and after our stay. Thank you!"

"Very beautiful setting, staff very friendly and helpful 5stars for them, the room was very nice with a very lovely large bed. Easy walking access to st ives but getting a cab back is a good idea. I would avoid room 84 as the veiw is overlooking the glass roof of the pool and you can hear everything happening in bar downstairs, but that is a minor inconvenience, I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone."

Great local hotel close to the hospital

"I stayed here with a group of colleagues on a multi-day business trip and really enjoyed the stay. We staff and the service was excellent. We ate in for supper on both nights as it was convenient and the food was great. Breakfast was very good with the best bacon I have tasted in ages - I can recommend the full Cornish or the bacon bap - heaven!"

Beautiful coastal retreat

"I was looking for an off season retreat where I could relax and be looked after. Greenbank was perfect for this. The hotel delivers comfort with excellent, friendly service and delicious food. My room was clean, comfortable and provided all the amenities I needed. Locally sourced refreshments are provided and toiletries that promote relaxation. Situated close to the town it is possible to access all that Falmouth has to offer by foot, although the return does invoke an uphill walk. If you enjoy walking this is an excellent place to visit as off season you can still take a ferry to the Roseland peninsula and enjoy good walking there too. Falmouth has an excellent variety of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Greenbank has an award winning restaurant with river views and food that is very satisfying after a day out exploring. All the staff are friendly and helpful and every effort is made to ensure that you have the best experience possible. I look forward to being able to return here again. "
