"An unexpected stay here after a cancelled ferry at Heysham but what a gem, such helpful staff, off road parking, amazing food and spotless clean. Ignore any dubious reviews, yes there are tired spots but these are all far outweighed by the positives. Only a 15 minute drive to Heysham too…"

"This is the second time I have stayed at The Pheasant. Lovely room, fantastic food and great location. Friendly staff too. Only negative is no draws or full-length hanging space for clothes in the room. If I’d been staying a few days I’d have missed this. As it was I could live out of my suitcase for one night. Would definitely book there again and recommend this as a lovely place to stay. Thank you. "

The breakfast was also 5 star and we mentioned the day before it was our wedding anniversary today and when we came down for breakfast they had left us a card and chocolates will definitely be returning and very soon x"
