"The location is beautiful and centered within walking distance to all of the fun shops and restaurants in Carmel. We loved the gardens everywhere on the property! However, the king bed (family cottage) was very uncomfortable. It felt like I was rolling to the side all night—not great support. The housekeeping was also not as expected. "We have stayed at this location year after year. Sometimes multiple times in the year. It NEVER disappoints. The onsite parking is great, distance to activities (racing, cycling, food, soccer, pinball, ocean, etc) is very convenient and the set up of the rental always has everything we need. The owner takes excellent care of the unit and we find new improvements every time we are visit. We will continue to book this location for our Monterey Bay stays!!!!"

"My wife and I have been visiting Monterey for years and love the cool weather and peaceful vibe of the area. First, the accommodations were excellent. The unit itself is very new. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and nestled in the Skyline Forest area of Monterey. The roads and driveways can be steep, but the views are amazing. Here is some notes and clarifications about the ADU: - The EV charging is a 125/250v 50a outlet and you will need to bring your own EV cable. - There is a private...

"Location was close to downtown. Unit needs a deep cleaning - floors, fridge, coffeemaker, etc. Towels smelled musty and there was no washcloth. There isn't alot a pots and pans, if you're planning to your own cooking."

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. "I am a rental property owner so I know what it takes to serve clients. This property was perfect. It was super clean, had wonderful amenities, a welcomed surprise gift, and perfect location. 3 golfing buddies and I shared the home. It’s the ideal foursome one or two night stay-only 20 minutes from Pebble Beach. Also it’s only 3 miles from a state park and expansive beach area. I highly recommend it."
