We got there well after dark and I was trying to get up the last directions to the cabin when you get to the farm and luckily Hugh came out to show us the last leg. "Really enjoyed our stay at The Hurdle. Really comfy and cosy accomodation and more roomy than we expected! Great location next to the church and alpacas outside our window. Visited Fishguard, Tenby, St David's and Solva, all a reasonable drive away. Property was mostly clean with plenty of kitchen equipment and clean bedding and towels. Although it wasn't spotless and we did have to wash the crockery and glasses before use. There was a pipe leak during our stay which the caretaker came to look...

"Had a lovely stay at the hut. Cosy and everything you needed. Just my dog and I and it was very comfortable. On a lovely property with alpacas. Shared grounds which were great for my dog to explore too. I would book again. "

"Quite far from us, and only for two nights, but based on reviews we decided to go. And we are very happy for our decision. Very nice place, jacuzzi waiting for us upon request nice and hot, views from the little garden are fantastic, we were lucky enough to have beautiful clear skies on the first night. Bed is very comfortable but be aware, is a bed you need to climb on using a ladder , I'm 6 foot 2 and 19 stones and I managed just fine, but if you're bigger than that, might need to sleep on the...

"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. The local town of Llangadog offers places...

"We stayed for a long weekend. Everything was as you would expect, nice and clean. On the Saturday night we realised we had no hot water, at 9:00 on the Sunday morning we phoned the number out of the information pack and immediately someone came round, she couldn’t fix it straight away and we were giving options of other properties available and we’re moved straight away. Very pleased with the customer service"
