"An exceptional house and infinity pool in the hills close to Montone. The children spent many hours in the pool and we all had a barbecue supper on the patio in the evening. The accommodation was wonderful and the kitchen allowed us all to help with cooking. Our master bedroom was very comfortable and had netting on the windows to stop the insects. Amazing property."

"We had an absolutely fabulous holiday in Brufa - Casa Vog. The house is perfectly located for short trips to Assisi, Perugia, Lago Trasimeno and slightly further afield to a number of places in Tuscany such as Siena. Olimpia and Elena are fantastic hosts. "We spent a week at Villa Nuba. It has a great location. Less than a five minute drive from the center but very quiet and peaceful. Super comfortable beds. Mosquito screens. Nothing will disturb your rest. Lovely to return to after the day if sightseeing. Giuseppe is a lovely host who speaks great English. He will give your great recommendations for restaurants or anything you might need. Do not hesitate to stay here. Highly recommended!"

"What a lovely home, perfectly situated in a beautiful town in such an amazing region. A great base from which to explore Umbria. We stayed 5 nights but would loved to have stayed 2 weeks. Maybe next time! Thanks to our host Andrea for making us feel welcome and providing great tips. For the uninitiated in old towns, if you plan to drive, navigating narrow streets of Spello can be very stressful and finding this house was quite tricky (but well worth it). "Borgo il Poeta ist ein perfektes Haus um die Natur in Umbrien zu genießen. Da wir für unsere Hochzeit dort waren, haben wir alle Wohneinheiten gebucht, es ist aber auch möglich, diese einzeln zu buchen. Alle Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und jede Einheit hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Besonders ist vor allem der Blick vom Haus in die Natur. Der Service von dem Manager vor Ort ist außergewöhnlich gut. Wir können es sehr empfehlen!"

"Staying at Villa Contessa is staying in an alternate universe. The property itself is out of a fairytale. It's tremendous with apricot trees, a full fruit and vegetable garden, pigs, chickens... not to mention the sweetest "pets" Kia, the dog and Virus, the cat that roam the grounds.The pool is out of a movie. "The villa was amazing and the views absolutely stunning! There were 6 couples and we all had very spacious bedrooms with en-suites. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking in the villa. There were two large dining areas outside, one undercover if it was raining. The pool area was cleaned every day and although we didn’t use it, had a pizza oven and bbq. Daniel, the host is always on hand if you have issues and we enjoyed some of his delicious wine!! Overall, we all thoroughly enjoyed...

It is centrally located so easy to visit various towns and villages in Umbria each day. The layout of the house was great for our family of 3 with our daughter having her own en suite room.
