"The property is completely new, well managed, very clean and overall really nice. It's quite centrally located in the middle of the village, which in Agujitas de Drake still means that you're mostly surrounded by rainforest. "Beto, the groundskeeper, was wonderful! Full of information and helpful. Loved his sweet little dog, Miraposa (Butterfly), even though I'm usually a cat person. Short walk to beach. Remember, this is glamping. It was easy to adjust to using the solar electricity as we have an RV and it's same idea. Bring a flashlight. It was hard to find property. Need a better sign. Also, the Casitas Mono needs an overhead fan. Need one more solar panel if you put that in."

"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. The house has simple but impressive amenities for how remote the area is. The drive to get there is an adventure in itself but you could not be closer to the park once you arrive! Highly recommend getting meals prepared by Tatiana and skipping...
