"This is a beautiful old house, really a privilege to stay in this traditional property. Its cosy, warm and comfortable, and a brilliant location. A few things to be aware of. There is a parking spot behind the house but its a little tight to get into. The lighting in the house isn't great, its quite dim in the kitchen which was a challenge to cook and its only overhead lights in the living room - could really use a lamp. Its also quite noisy as its on a lively road and this is an old house that...

"This place is a little gem. It’s within walking distance of most of the places you will want to go and close to bus stops for transportation for tours and transfers. The host greeted us and helped us to navigate the area. I would stay here again and highly recommend giving it a try! "

"Great location and great base. Some basics such as coffee, shampoo, hand wash were provided which was really helpful and convenient. It could be a little noisy with people entering the property, could do with extra pillows and extra normal sized cups - was one to share between the three of us. But overall would definitely stay there again and recommend."

"Fast & easy communication via email. Getting key from lock box was easy. They are currently updating the exterior. The neighbours are CLOSE by, if you are on ground level. This seems like a very European thing, though."

"We really enjoyed staying at Day Dream L23! It was located in the heart of Reykjavík on a residential street, which made our experience of the city more authentic. The room was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. The kitchen was super useful, as we made some of our meals at home. The hotel was a short walk to shopping, dining, the harbour and public transit. Overall amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
