We arrived at Sunset villas mid-afternoon and were greeted by a friendly and bubbly young lady, she helped us with our bags and showed us to our room with a fantastic view of the beach and table mountain from the balcony (and the bed). Great spacious room, lovely big bath and separate shower. But on closer inspection of the room there are a couple of things that we felt needed looking at, the patio door does close properly and it bows at the top and bottom, there was rubbish left in one of the bedside cabinet drawers, the remote control for the tv had no back and only one battery, the blind in the bathroom was broken, the toilet seat is very worn and there was a stain on the bed sheet. There is also only secure parking for 2 vehicles. For breakfast on the first morning we were greeted by the same lady who welcomed us the previous day, she had a good energy and wonderful vibe. The cooked breakfast itself was a disappointment the bacon was like rubber and struggled to cut through it, on the second morning we both opted for just cereal and toast. Overall our stay here was lovely but the we thought the room just lacked the final touches that could of made it spectacular.
