"This villa offers everything you could desire. Beauty, comfort, atmosphere, luxury, art, birds and lovely garden. Pool and hot tub ensure relaxation and exercise. Elias as the caretaker and contact was perfect. Plan on a few days at the Villa without traveling everyday. Would recommend seeing Poás volcano and a trip to the beach at Jaco. Both very easy in a day trip. Many very good places to eat in the town of Atenas. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our 8 nights here. Peaceful and easy to just relax. Close to everything in town but secluded perch to enjoy your time away. Of course, Piet & Yvonne are amazing, we love staying at one of their properties. Only thing I would change is having the gardeners descend on the property for 4-5 hours one morning during our stay. "This was our first visit to beautiful Costa Rica. We stayed only a few days in San Jose before we ended our trip on the Pacific side.There were 7 of us traveling together for a family reunion and this hacienda was perfect for us! Plenty of room and easy to get around. The home had everything we could need; full kitchen, washer and dryer, toiletries too. And a huge, well taken care of, yard and garden. "This house is SO special. The art is stunning. Each room had a different feel and meets a different need. The kitchen was fully stocked for wonderful cooking experiences. The host and the staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The six of us had dance parties, pool parties, dinner parties, lots of quiet time, and connection time. We absolutely loved our stay and have zero complaints. "

Everything easy and accessible in the kitchen, to allow for a lot of “at home” meal preparation. The bedrooms very comfortable, and wheelchair accessible (for my father).
