"We were very happy to check in early (noon) and to be upgraded to a larger room. We were only there for the 'night' because we had an early flight out of Florence. It was everything we needed for an overnight. Views? not from our room but we weren't there for that. Just a place to sleep. "

The only thing I would warn you is to take cash to pay the city tax because this hotel insist it be paid in cash. Other hotels in Italy have accepted credit cards from me, so just be ready. It’s minor- $6/ person per night. Check out the public market around the corner in the morning for a great coffee and breakfast pastry. So many things in the market- incline friuts, vegetables, meats, bakery, and more. It’s closed later in the day, but the 2nd level Is open later with a very nice collection of restaurants. "
