"Wonderful area and very practical. I was charged extra for my dog that i was not aware of. Bring your own towels and coffee filters. Even though i stayed 3 nights there were only 3 coffee filters. I drink more than one coffee a day. "

"Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. We took a polar bear swim (late october!) and we're all looking forward to enjoying the cottage and lake next summer. No question, this will be our go to cottage in the Kawartha's. Thanks, Tanya!"

"The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. The upstairs is very odd with a railing around a hole in the middle. Pretty much a waste of space. The railings should be...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of six, and there was more than enough space for all of us. This rental is well equipped with everything you need. The deck was beautiful, and the campfire pit was so peaceful. We had a fire after dark and sat in the Muskoka chairs with a beautiful view of the water. I highly recommend this rental, we would stay here again for sure!"

"The cottage was spacious and open to accommodate six adults with lots of space to enjoy. The water was accessible for kayak and paddle boarding or boating but a canal and no swimming very close by. The outdoor living space was generous and wonderful as another option with two deck areas, BBQ, and fire pit. "We only stayed for 3 days but it was really nice. Karen and Stuw went out of their way to make us feel really welcome. The secluded location is far enough away from Fenelon Falls to provide some detachment from everything if you want that but close enough to it to get there easily if you don’t. "Excellent location very responsive host. The only thing that was inaccurate in the listing was the total of bedrooms. On the listing it has eight bedrooms and unfortunately, this place only has five bedrooms and one out of the five bedrooms is a child’s room so it won’t sleep two people comfortably.our group was 6 couples and it was hard to deal with bedroom arrangements. The property lacked maintenance overall. Will definitely rent again in the future but only maximum 4 couples. "
