"We loved staying on this houseboat. It was kind of like an adventure inside of an adventure. The only thing I would have changed (if I had the ability) was the weather. Our stay was in November (we were there for an event), so it was chilly. Next time we will stay when it's warmer, so we can enjoy coffee (by morning) and wine (by evening) out on the houseboat's deck. Why stay anywhere else when visiting Boston?

"The location is awesome, you can walk to the USS Constitution and the ferry to the north end. Boat is very nice. The check in was amazing. Some advice- it is a steep step climb to the boat so pack accordingly (our heavy suitcases were a challenge but was workable…use duffles if you can (we were on the road for a while so this was on us). The only other thing to note is the stove does not work, we bought stuff to cook but it is just a microwave. Overall, awesome stay. "

"My wife and I had a great time at Lillypad. On the first night, we brought wine and a charcuterie board onboard and had a romantic evening. On the second day, we went into town and had a wonderful day. Both nights, the sunsets were gorgeous."

"We only stayed 2 nights but it was so conveniently located. Within walking distance to all our needs and not far from attractions. Didn't have to take the car anywhere. This was my first time using VRBO and all my questions were answered by the property owners including advice requests. Overall great experience"

"Chad and Holley were incredible hosts, they addressed all our needs immediately. They offered us an extensive list of local restaurants that were spot on. During our stay we experienced a couple of wonderful sunrises. The marina was calming with spectacular views of Boston during the night."

"Fairmont Chateau Frontenac is one of those iconic places people need to stay at least once in their life time. With an amazing array of activities and amenities and an incredible view of the river and city it is definitely a must if coming to the Christmas market (just steps away). Boost your stay with gold level and you have access to a private lounge where breakfast is included along with afternoon and late night snacks and drinks. "The hotel has so much charm, beautifully decorated at Christmas! The beds were very comfortable! Rooms were small but clean. Staff was attentive and helpful. The hotel could use some updating but I wouldn't want it to lose it's old charm. It would be nice if the Last Hurrah was open earlier and a little later, we were not able to have a cocktail there after our show. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Very nice location for this hotel. We enjoyed our room and it was quiet and close to everything. Very walkable and the train station was close. Airport about 2 miles away but 20 mins via cab. No coffee pot in the room however dunkin donuts is 1 block down and there is a little restaurant in the hotel where you can buy coffee. Overall would stay there again! Front desk staff is fabulous!"
