"First off, this hotel is undergoing a major renovation, so first impressions of the outside can be a bit off-putting. But wait! The rooms have undergone a complete makeover and are very attractive. There are comfortable beds, pleasant updated decor and lighting, and new drapery on the windows and a small French balcony! The bathrooms are sparkling clean with rainfall showers. And rooms are a good size with room to move around. The hallways have also been updated The staff at the hotel was very accommodating and pleasant and always available to offer directions or other useful information. The hotel is in a very good location, as it is right across from the beach and promenade and around the corner from the Old Town, where there are many good restaurants to choose from. There is also a market in the Old Town most days selling flowers, all kinds of fruit and produce, delicious pastries, native food specialties, tourist souvenirs, you name it! An interesting place to walk around and take it all in! I think this hotel is an excellent choice based on location, service and price range! Enjoy Nice and the Riviera!"

"Excellent service from Pierre(?) who went above and beyond. Clean throughout, great layout and sustainable with water available and breakfast goods offered for free after breakfast service to reduce waste. The rooms were pleasant, good privacy and range of bathroom types outside the rooms. Great location and decor was modern and chic. Rooms did become hot however window and door can open and allow air through. A lot of people for 2 WCs per floor however it did manage to work "

"Location is great just across the road to the old town. We had stayed there 3 years ago and returned. Check in at reception is very Slow . And the water in our room was cold for 2 days when I let reception know someone did come and fix it."

"Breakfast was good at the same time the staff there should understand that ordering eggs from back kitchen is part of the service. For staff to respond when ordering eggs that it will take 15 mins (which it didn't) is akin to refusing service."

"This is a high quality hotel, well located near the centre of town with sea views and directly adjacent to the luxury shopping area. Trams and trains were easily accessible and you could walk around most the city area. The only small niggle was that the staff were super friendly but not everything came off. the breakfast service was a bit patchy. lots of people around but not well organised."
