"Great and spacious property in good neighborhood, close proximity to important areas in the city, such as Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Gran Vía, etc. There are many places for eating and drinking in the area. We had a situation with the AC that stopped working the second night, called management after hours and someone came to the place 10 min later and fixed the problem right away. "Thr apartment was clean and equipped with all the basic necessities you might need for a few day stay. All the sights are walkable distance but not f you prefer using public transportation, stops are close as well. Entry to the apartment is with your phone so make sure you have internet and charge on your phone."

"Lovely spacious property in good location close to many museums & Real Jardín Botánico. We chose this apartment as we initially thought it was close to Notches del Botánico as we had concert tickets. Lovely concert venue 25 mins away in a taxi costing €11. Very reasonable. Pool on the roof is lovely and a good size. Excellent communication with the owner Rosario. Great having the large terrace and the balcony."

There were a few comments from other renters that I read AFTER signing up and found to be applicable to our stay: 1) There was construction going on right in front of our building that we weren’t made aware of until we received the check in details, would have been nice to know this sooner. "We were 5 adults and 3 children staying here for 3 nights in early April. We loved that it was steps to the Bilbao metro station and from bus lines going to the major museums. The neighborhood has more of a local vs tourist feel and that was special. Management was very accommodating to our need for more towels and an extra pillow. Comfy beds, loved the individual bedroom a/c units. We will return, and we are also sharing this location with our friends as a recommendation."

Plenty of cafe's and bars in the roads around this property. Within walking distance to most of the main attractions Madrid has to offer (Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, San Miguel market etc). So, Location wise 5 stars! "The apartment is in a good area for accessing transit, restaurants, and sites. The neighborhood is good. Metro stations are close and it takes just a few minutes to get to tourist sites like the Sol plaza and the Royal Palace but is far enough away to get away from to tourist crowds. Using transit to and from the airport is easy and cheap as well. The condition of the apartment is a little rough but not bad. Cleanliness could be a little better.
