"This is a beautiful property on the river where we enjoyed using the kayaks and playing cornhole and volleyball. There are multiple seating areas and a firepit with beautiful landscaping all around. The cabin was spotless with everything we needed provided, and only a short walk (or drive) across the road down to the river. Daniel, the host, was very helpful and friendly, greeting us when we got there and taking us to the river and showing us around. We hope to visit again soon."

"Cute cabin overlooking the hill country! We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine. "

"We had a delightful stay at this charming old cabin! The large property provided a perfect sense of seclusion while being conveniently close to the river, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.The rustic charm of the decor was a highlight for us, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, we were a bit let down by the restriction on outdoor music. "My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3."
