" A short distsnce outside Potes, nice chalet style hotel. Clean & basic, but comfortable with lounge & garden that caught the evening sun. Nearby restaurant was closed the night we stayed. WiFi signal needs boosting to reach all rooms, but was fine in lounge area, near reception. Friendly & efficient staff. Continental breakfast was included in the room rate."

"Lovely property with the sweetess hostess. There is no elevator but she helped me lift my suitcase to the upper floor. Rooms are cozy, clean and most importantly warm enough in the cold mountain weather. Parking is super close by and so are shops and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here"

"Amazing location, very, very peaceful in the heart of the Picos mountains. Breakfast enjoyable but very repetitious, delicious dinners. The only adverse comment is that the beds are uncomfortable (felt like camp beds), otherwise a privilege to stay in a stunning setting. "

"El hombre que nos atendió en el check-in fue muy amable y atento. Respetan las medidas covid-19 y la habitación estaba limpia. Lo peor es qje no pudimos descansar muy bieb por los ruidos, hasta las 12 no cesaron los portazos y se oía la tele y las voces de otras habitaciones. Todo se repitió por la mañana pronto, sobre las 7. Está en plena carretera, a pocos km de san vicente de la barquera y con muchos servicios en el propio establecimiento (tienda, bar, restaurante...)."

Llevamos una nevera de viaje y la dejamos enchufada, nos fuimos a pasar el día fuera y a la vuelta nos la habían desenchufado, no me pareció bien porque ellos no sabían si yo necesitaba la nevera enchufada por algún motivo especial (medicinas, etc...)"

"Beautiful setting and property. It is a 2 star Hosteria so don’t expect anything more. But it’s very unique and interesting for 1-2 nights stay if you’re visiting the area. Views on the road to get there are breathtaking. Staff is friendly and accommodating as possible. Breakfast is plentiful."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

Charming hotel in the center of town

"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "
