"Satisfactory stay and very content overall. The room (deluxe double) was adequate and decent. One of the particular standout features was Elemis toiletries throughout the hotel - this is such a small, but fantastic touch and a noticeable feature. The gym and spa also a highlight of the hotel and very much enjoyed using those facilities. Had an initial look round shortly after arriving - it was a bit busy so went back later on in the evening and it was much quieter, perfect! Only little niggle I experienced was with the shaving kit- it was pleasantly provided in an Elemis box but the razor itself was useless! The shave kit needs sorting out because it's not fit for purpose. This was the only downside to my stay as the crap razor - which surely couldn't have been manufactured by Elemis despite the box it was in - trebled my usual shave time which was annoying and a bit of an inconvenience. Apart from that, full marks all round- the staff were also friendly, upbeat and energetic on any interaction and very quick to take care of requests, which is excellent. Would recommend and will return at some point. "

"Wonderful stay. The receptionist Katya was brilliant. Very informative regarding the hotel and surrounding area. Brilliant centralised location to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and further afield. We went to the Kelpies for the sunrise and Ian on reception was brilliant. The hotel is room only but there is a great kitchen for cooking and loads of takeaways within the vicinity."

"Lovely and cozy place. Room was comfy and the food was very tasty. Breakfast was served until 9.45 which is great and it had lots of options including the traditional British buffet. My only negative for this stay are the pillows are the usual hotel pillows that have no firmness. They did provide extra in the room but even with 4 stacked up they sink into nothing and feel like they're not there at all. "
