"The property looked great from the website. When i booked a refundable deposit of £150 was requested. I tried, unsuccessfully, to pay this from a different card than the card I booked with. Then I paired with the booking card. When I turned up at the property there is no reception, no staff, the place was deserted. I called the phone number to get my check in details to find the deposit hadn’t been taken and I still had to pay it. It took almost an hour in total to check in. The property is...

"Most of Westminster College is used for students. The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen. The breakfast included in the cost of the room is a full English breakfast, and was excellent. Be aware that the rooms are not cleaned daily - you can expect rooms to be cleaned every 3 days, however you can get extra supplies from Reception. I highly recommend the property."

"We had a lovely short stay at the Gonville. The rooms were clean, well provisioned and had a good size for a couple. The location of the hotel couldn’t be more perfect for getting around central Cambridge! Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the bar very much. The only snag we had was our shower wouldn’t go warm, but the hotel team were quick to assure they would get that fixed straight away! A very lovely service and stay, we would definitely recommend and stay here again. "
