We asked several times for Tahoe Donner guest cards (to access private amenities and get discount on lift tickets) and the host said they'd look into it but did not give us an update and ignored our follow up messages."

"The studio was fine… smaller than we thought and the building as a whole was pretty dated, but the studio seemed updated. Location wasn’t bad, close enough drive to town, but away from the crowds. Walls are paper thin, so you hear everything going on around you in all the other units. It worked for what we needed, but will look elsewhere next time."

"The condo was nice and accurately described. The bed was comfortable, lots of hot water with good water pressure. Kitchenette was well stocked. The balcony could have used a little love/upgraded furniture . It was dirty, dusty with ? Owners dusty shoes, two painted bird houses and a plastic sled and some other stuff all covered in thick dust and cob webs. The table was wobbly and dusty. It would have been a nice place to drink morning coffee. I was disappointed that it cost $20/pp per day to use...

"We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that it is dated, and some of the fixtures and furnishings may be a bit dated, but everything was operational, comfortable, and this is one of the more affordably priced rentals in the area.
