"The location of the hotel is excellent, with the best parts of Verona on your doorstep, all within easy walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Just be aware, if you are arriving by car, that the hotel does not have any parking available nearby. Public parking garage is about 10-15 minutes walk away, across the river. Also, WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. Verona is a beautiful town, well worth visiting."

"Rooms are simple & nicely decorated. Owner & staff were great! Went to the bar around the corner for my daily cappaccino & croissant, lovely! The San Zeno piazza is a block away with many restaurants. I highly recommend Trattoria San Zeno! Owner & waiter absolutely wonderful & food is delicious & extremely reasonable! Verona Centre is a 10-15 min walk but I took the Verona bikes from piazza & took me less than 5 min to get into the Centre. Or you can grab the bus by the bar around the corner...

"Clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic location. Our host was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy just a few blocks away at the cittadella parking lot. At $21 euros a day, not cheap but comparable to most inner city parking prices. We ate at a few places but our favourite was the food and service at Ostinati just steps outside Ariel's main entrance. "

"The breakfast is really good. The accommodation was a little bit shabby and tired and the garden with a little bit overgrown - however overall the experience was good. We had some difficulty checking in because the instructions are a bit complicated and not very well phrased. We had the owner on the phone who was clearly upstairs, we could hear us speaking to us but didn’t, come down to help us. "Betty’s House….what an amazing B&B. It’s a hidden gem. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden/pool area. Breakfast was fab. Defo plentiful and a good variety of it. What’s makes this place even more beautiful is the owner Betty. What a lovely, friendly and helpful lady. Really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointing thing was we had only booked to stay for one night!! Will defo return and highly recommend Bettys House to anyone staying by Lake...

"The host Milena is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and parking. It is also easy to access the city centre by bus as there are bus stops nearby. A lot of options for breakfast in the morning. The room is not the biggest in the world but it is very clean and has all the amenities needed. Would recommend."

Rosario made contact when I messaged that I would arrive after 7:00p.m. and was there to answer the bell. To correct a previous reviewer, there is no fee for checking in late: that is the standard City Tax. Good value for money. "

"We arrived very late but this was pre arranged. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. Let us buy some water from the little shop they have. Room was clean. Shower leaked but otherwise was fine. Parking free right outside. My kids managed to spill drink all over the floor at breakfast and the lady was so kind, cleared it all with no issue. She was very friendly. Thankyou for a nice stay "

"We stayed for 4 nights in Verona for wedding . We enjoyed it very much , every thing in suite was clean and convenient the only thing that was difficult for us was parking place since it was in historic part we couldn’t bring our car close to property . "

"Hotel Opera is a gem Hidden in the tiny streets of old Verona. Everything from check-in went perfect. The stuff especially Valentina were very attentive and caring. The room was unexpectedly amazing., Comfortable and inviting. Love the decor and serenity. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking a place to stay in Verona. "This is a special place. The rooms are comfortable and quiet (especially considering the central location and it was fully booked). The rooftop restaurant is spectacular. Perhaps best of all was the gracious and courteous staff. Even if one staff member was already helping us, others would always pitch in to make things flow as smoothly and pleasantly as possible. "

Parking areas needs to be highlighted.

"Arrived on a Sunday and initially we were redirected by the local police as they were not allowing cars to get any closer to the area where the hotels are located. We tried alternative routes and did not find any and next time we arrived at the roundabout we explained that we were staying overnight and allowed us through. We did not realise that the hotels have a separate parking area with a shuttle cart to take you to the hotel. We had difficulty getting the QR code for the parking from the Hotel but once we got that it was easy enough. This should be highlighted when booking on your site and would make the experience much more relaxed."
