The house was big enough to have intimacy amongst friends and couples staying with us, warm enough to bring us all together to raise a glass, knife, and fork. "We had a great time at this wonderful villa. It is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The views are wonderful, and the things to do in Alassio include great food, fun at the beach, a wonderful town to explore, and a great atmosphere to enjoy. The owners were great hosts. They helped us get settled in, and were very responsive to any questions we had. I recommend this home to anyone who wants to get to know the Italian Riviera. We can’t wait to go back!"

"This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. "Maison en parfait état et bien aménagée. Bon point de départ pour découvrir la région. Nous avons surtout apprécié les grottes riches en traces de la présence humaine. Le petit musée historique de la vieille ville et son ambiance tranquille par rapport à la plage trop mercantile. Belles promenades à partir de San Bernardino. Fantastic stay!

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Hotel in Savona and would highly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming, setting the tone for a great visit. The hotel offers three restaurants, and the one I dined at was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere added to the experience. My room was exceptionally spacious, with a large bathroom, plenty of fresh linen and towels, and top-quality toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a great selection of coffee and tea, as well as a well-stocked fridge. The balcony was a perfect spot to relax and watch the world go by. One of the highlights of Mare Hotel is its direct access to the beach, making it incredibly convenient for a seaside escape. The town center is just a 20-minute walk away, easily reachable via the road or a scenic stroll along the beach. As a female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The hotel’s environment is secure and welcoming. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Savona."
