Overall solid. I didn’t like having to be wanded down everytime I enter the hotel. I understand why, but wasn’t a fan. Also, was stopped a few times to show ID and they checked to see if me and my girlfriend had a room or not.

The only problem I have is that my friends from Cali who visited me had a hard time. Apparently i was only allowed to have guest until 9pm. I made my reservation for 2 as i always do so that wasnt the issue. It reqlly felt like i was back in college living in a dormitory by having the hotel dictator who can visit me and til what time. I asked my friends if all hotels in Colombia were this way and said no, that they had never experienced this. I couldnt even have lunch at the onsite restaurant with someone ive known for over a year because i firgot to tell her to bring her id. I guess its great for safety purposes, but it seems a bit extreme. Im a 51 year man and dont feel the need to have who can visit me at a place im paying fir, be dictated by the hotel. As much as i love this location I will be staying somewhere else when i return to Calu next month.

I am a business traveler so i'm usually in a hotel Monday - Thursday every week. I debated staying here or going with a brand I was more familiar with, i.e. The Intercontinental. I am so glad I selected this location. The property is clean, the rooms are modern with real stone, granite and wood throughout. The views are gorgeous and the hotel is conveniently located over a shopping mall and next to a casino (if that's your thing). But what really makes this my new home in Cali is the professionalism, kindness, and courtesy of all of the staff. From the night security and bellmen who initially greeted me and handled my needs to Camilia and the other at the front desk, to all of the housekeepers (Pauola), Angie and Daniella in La Zarzuela (the onsite restaurant)who took care of my room, Angie and Daniella in La Zarzuela (the onsite restaurant) my entire stay here was marked by extremely good service genuine professionalism and courtesy. I will definitely be returning to this location in the future.

I loved staying at the Spiwak Hotel. It’s incredibly secure and conveniently located inside the Chipichape Mall, offering plenty of dining options, nightlife, and activities nearby. I’ll definitely be staying here again!
